I just think this whole thing is stupid, if it has nothing to do with you then why bother?
It's not like you were the ones hired to find the plane or anything.

I guess it would be acceptable to get fired up if you knew someone on the plane, and as far as opinions go, I'm with Oracle.

Excuse me? I made the title clear and simple - missing plane, thoughts and opinions. Nothing more. The moment you clicked on the link to this discussion, what did you expect? That we'd talk about ponies? I never implied that it was our job to look for the plane but for opinions on what people think might have happened to it. Just don't reply if you have nothing to say. Hundreds of people were on board the plane and you claim that this plane crash is stupid? I'm Malaysian, for your information. My friends and uncle have friends on board the plane.

@Oracle: There is a high possibility that it has landed in the Indian Ocean. It'll take some time to find evidence, though. The Indian Ocean is the deepest ocean on Earth.

a wild guess, landed somewhere and all passengers were enslaved and are being sold eather as slaves or organ donors, while plane is claimed to be crashed and lost.

and hey, don't look at me like that, these things exist nowdays and called shadow economy or black market. atleast thats the most logical thing i would do instead of keeping them as hostages in hope to get money for their freedom, since negotiating will require revealing myself, where it's not a good idea at all if i want to keep that money and stay alive.

again, just a wild guess, but i would not be surprised that in half a year or so we will have this as breaking news title.
Apparently the plane has crashed in the ocean, they all died. I was kind of expecting that since the news report said they only had 3 hours of fuel left (about 1 week ago!.)

But wouldn't they know to use their seats as floating devices? Or maybe they were just panicking and didn't know that you could use your seats as a flotation device or maybe the doors were stuck and I don't know...

In conclusion: Planes need parachutes and dingy boats.

Planes have dingys, or more precisely, the inflatable ramps are used as dingys when they have a water landing.

It's really a situation that you wouldn't expect to happen. The tracking being turned off, no communications, a crash without visible debris (until now), and apparently without any survivors using life jackets or any of the flotation.

I'm quite interested to know how something like this could even happen, it's pretty unusual for all the safety and precautionary systems to be ineffective.

True. At least one person would have had to survive that. Unless the plane is being hidden somewhere else and that countries Government is helping to hide it and the wreckage is just fake? Thats a bit risky to say but hey...

The most likely scenario is a hijacking that made the plane go in a direction opposite of its original destination, it ran out of fuel, and crashed in the Indian ocean with no survivors.
These theory's are getting out of hand.
Aircraft have very considerable tracking and monitoring equipment, it's not an easy thing to disable all of them without raising any cause for alarm.

To me it's unthinkable that a plane can disappear. If it was a hijacking, then this is some very considerable effort.

Honestly I don't know if it's even possible to disable everything during a hijacking - especially without any kind of warning or alert being sent out.

u still talking about where it is lead
See page 3 I am sorry to say
it is in the Indian ocean and they all are dead
I am sorry Iawesome for this bad day
Or what kradel said that it hadn't fly
Maybe the government is hiding it may
I say? the Indian ocean thing was a lie?
Let's say the plane had 200 human on it
Human these days don't come alone
Human these days they come with an iphone
And every phone has find my phone thing
And there is a lot of satellites out there that screens airspring
And like immortal said
How could a plane crash without a warning to the base
And disappeared from the black box without anything said
I think that the crash at the Indian ocean is fake
and the plane didnt even crash into the lake
I hope they

I have no idea what you are saying, but it looks like a poem. I will center it for you. Maybe someone will try and analyze it

INB4 14 days ban
Confirmed? Over here where I live they are still looking for these objects found by French satellites, and we have yet to even find them too. But there is also still there that box that sends out a "ping" (I believe) where that holds a lot of info on everything that could happen on the plane. But it only has a 2 week battery life I believe so that may be out of the finding.
