Well, I sent you a PM about it... I don't see why I couldn't of just posted it as a reply though <.<;;

My first production out of a true modeller, just fiddlin' with the commands, its your standard cube generating a particle effect. It gives me hope, b'cause I keep hearing about how massively complex the controls are, and it really does feel a bit intuitive. (program is named Blender, http://www.blender.org, its freeware, and full featured!)

I have blender3D too! i like making towers of cubes and then using the bullet phyisics engine to make it collapse! thats all i know how to do though i really want to make those really awsome liquid effects those.

Aye, I'm trying to figure that very thing out.. and I can't figure it out... Its pretty bad that I'm having to read "the noob guide" o__o

edit: Actually in that guide I found a water tutorial that I'm starting now:

No man, everyone starts somewhere. XD Noob guides are also a good way to see if you're still on track. I've had that (not with blender but with other stuff): Look at a guide and find a totally easy way to do something I've been doing in a more difficult manner.

Also, I realized (after about 2 hours) what the problem with generating the "domain" cube and the "fluid" cube. When you have the domain cube selected, and you're on the fluid dynamics tab (aka: the tab where you would of actually clicked "domain") at the very bottom of that tab, there's a dialogue box, in previous versions, if nothing was typed in there, it would warn you, and request for you to accept a location, but this version skips that. If nothing is typed into that box, it quite simply won't work, so make that folder go to some temporary folder ( c:/temp anyone?) and it'll go from there.

That was what took me so long to get. n__n
Re: Bryce / Poser Renders (57 images + 17 Videos)
I recommend you try out Wings 3D, I found it to be a much better modelling program than blender.

Also, I must warn you, blender has horrible UV-mapping.
Re: Bryce / Poser Renders (57 images + 17 Videos)
I'm checking it out, and the reason I'm so attracted to blender is the usage of the physics, and gravity enabler, it seems like wings is just a modeller. That, and it specifically states that it cannot do animations... ahh, but then again, it might be worth modelling in there, then trasferring to blender for the renders... ahhh, its worth a download.
