As is the case with most of the UrbanUnit members, it is just not possible for me to visit on a regular basis. A lot of us back in the day were teenagers/young adults with no work to do, granting us the availability to waste valuable days of our lives perfecting SP and/or winning tournaments.
Call me sentimental when I say this because it is the prime concern with killing off the clan, UrbanUnit was the only reason I would ever come back to the game. I have been a member since 2008 which has been a considerable period of my life. Granted, my activity for the last few years was a joke due to technical issues and studies, but I would still check the forum regularly to see how everyone was doing, watch us climb the ranks and admire the talent of other members.
Players like Leilak, Numbers, Leyz and whatnot have all contributed immensely to the Toribash community, but we just cannot waste our lives any more on the forums, in game or on IRC. We all of study/work to do. I'm pretty sure all of us are adults now: mature members of the community. I know it's not a big loss to Toribash if 'Alessandro' becomes forever inactive, but you'd be killing the primary incentive for any of us to return to the game. There will not be a Numbers, Samopal or anyone of the sort. We all come back for the clan and that's it. If it takes occasionally joining competitions and always participating in the world tournament then so be it, but playing all the time to be considered 'alive' again is a stretch.
We are active enough (now especially after this wakeup call) to be a fully functional clan. Don't tear apart the family because of these 'official' conditions. We may be inactive but we're certainly not dead. Albeit, we're not asking to be deemed 'untouchable' because of the years we've spent playing the game or because of our contribution to the game, but we ask you respect the fact that we can't spend our lives on Toribash, and give a little more leniency. Otherwise, you're losing a whole clansworth of members forever into inactivity.
