If you were top 1% in Wushu would you even know it? It doesn't seem to be as rewarding as it should be in a hardcore player skill game.
The old ranking system let you know how high up the ranks you were in a specific mod or globally. I really wish they kept this system, it gave you something to fight for and it worked fine. Now you have to go into ranked lobbies or specific tournaments to gain a rank, then grind your way to rank 1 on the same 4 mods. I don't see why we made such a system that only really appeals to advanced players and then decide to give out TC when we were so keen on sinking TC at the time. And it's obvious this current system isn't for everyone when only around 1500 people care enough to play a ranked match, and even less continue playing ranked matches to get rank 1. It's literally a fight between about 5 players and I know this because I am in game quite a lot. I even tried to get ranked up myself and got bored after 2 ranked matches, it just isn't 'fun'. It's like fighting in a serious mod for TC (well, that's literally what it is), it isn't enjoyable but you're doing it because there's a prize in the end but many players get bored and stop caring.

There isn't anyone to really discuss the rules with no real higher input, just most of us saying yeah that's fine then nothing happens. I don't think the rules should be completely redone just more open to new ones.
what? You guys can change the rules, you have people to discuss them with, it's been done before many times, all you need is one guy to take initative and push it.
