also, if you are making in 128x128, which you are, i find it very arousing to see them spinning at 100 frames with 70 set as the interval and RGB=256.

don't be afraid to just hand draw it all.

I would gladly hand-draw my head textures if I could, but I have no effective way of uploading them.
