well done wiirus, they do look good. the master chief one has the background blurred too much, your latest one doesn't make the figure stand out from the background. but with your extent of experience, very well done. keep up the good work.
you shouldn't have read that

You're right. I tried a tut, which told me to enlarge the render and to blur it for a background...
