Heh. It seams Veb done the bad thing with the forum hack, which is really interesting. Episode 1 of the Rift ends with the:

Shady character spins in his chair and removes his hood. We now see its Veb, 'changed' by the dark Rift exposure.

That was the big cliff-hanger that I was planing to do on the end of episode 1. Strange... Sometimes imagination goes forward and peek into future a bit, I guess. :}
