Hey, been thinking about leaving and making my own clan. Now, I know quite a few people probably want me to be promoted, but I just feel like Piratez isn't what it was when I joined and it would be good if I made my own clan.

Seen a few review of that game, seems just like another Dota-esq game with a twist, and I've ever like Dota-esq games.

I'm waiting patiently for a beta key to a new Wow-esq game, RIFT. Meant to be pretty good.

Tbh, there aren't many more social clans than Piratez out there, and if you're planning on starting a decent clan, you're going to need a pretty strong foundation of known players to join it and stick with it. Even then, it could just fizzle out and die when it becomes official due to the clan no longer having a clear goal.
