good news! after hours of investigating i found out what was wrong on my computer's sound system, managed to fix my sound board, and now i have a cool sound and i get to use the MIC!!!

on another subject, (nothing to do with the previous fix) each time i turn on my comp, the explorer.exe task automatically fails, but what's weird about it, is that the only thing wrong with the explorer.exe is the tasks bar, including the start menu... it wont work at all... though the rest of the explorer.exe stuff works perfectly...
i've been trying shit for a couple hours now and it still wont work... anyone knows what's wrong with it?
