Rank in belts is just toppings, I don't care if a guy is an none ranked white belt or a master with a rank of 1
I only care if the guy is good: Here is one thing we could do.
A potential recruit can challenge anyone in the clan to their (the clan members) favored game mode(Aikido, Judo, etc) If the recruit can win 3 of 4 machs, their in, at the same rank as the challenged clan member (exceptions for leader, co leader, and pure/dark ranks) if they are evenly matched with the challenged member they are also allowed in , but as a light/shadow.
This also allows relatively weak players in, but keeps up standards; if standards are to low, purge weak players from the shadow/light ranks as needed until standards are raised to necessary levels. The best part of this is; new recruits are always at lest as strong as present clan members, maybe not as strong as the clan's elite, but strong enough to be a creditable grunt
Pro: insures that new clan members are at lest as good as present clan members.
Cons: If the clan stock is made of primarily upper tire players, growth will be sluggish. Dose not allow new players with potential in.
