Total War 2 is a really good game.

I'm not great at it but I really like the game, I love the setting it captures. Seeing the Sengoku period (or Warring States period) play out, and the attention to detail is really nice to see in a big title game.

edit: the Sengoku Jidai would have been some of the hardest times in Japans pre-modernization - just constant fighting and blood-shed. Pretty scary honestly.
