Linux has a large variety of available software programs, utilities, and games. However, Windows has a much larger selection of available software.
Many of the available software programs, utilities, and games available on Linux is open source.

I've made separate 15gb partition for ubuntu, and made windows partition to automount in fstab, then made simlinks for Music, Documents, Photos etc
Most of the time using Linux, but having windows is needed for my work right now...
Ye. All OSs have their advantages and disadvantages. Arguing which is better is purely situational; for instance artists and media creators may like Macs more than Windows, while people who are gamers will almost always prefer Windows since there are few games that aren't compatible with it. People looking for completely customizable and open source stuff might look more towards Ubuntu/Linux/etc
