Steena or Christine, although i only know you through a video game i feel as if i know you in real life. Get well soon, and by that i mean very soon.

(I added her real name just in case you want it to be formal.)

I'll put it on the card I'm going to send her.

Uhm, I have no idea, how this is going to work D: .
Also fapmonkeys, stop going of topic in this thread :O .

Cool idea with the card, Alpha
I shall think of something to say.

Also, if we can all ask around and try and find out where the hospital is...

"She isn't real.... Can't make her real"
Firstly, I wasn't anticipating this becoming a thread, but fate rarely requests my permission for things these days.

Secondly, finally, after 19 days in a coma, Steena is awake!

After a few more days in hospital she recovered enough to be at home, but needless to say she is tired.

The details as I understand them are as follows.

According to a friend of hers, who was until now my only source of information, she was involved in a car accident. However the only thing she remembers from that day, is that she missed the first bus in the morning. This is most likely a side effect of the coma. Short term memory loss is common.

When taken to hospital the subsequent routine head scans showed an anomaly.
Most of what I accuse myself of knowing about the world isn't in the fields of medicine but after some research while she was in a coma I deduced that the beginnings of an aneurysm that the doctors discovered was most likely to have been present -prior- to the accident, which turned out to be the case. So, in some ways the accident was a good thing. Cause it could have been a lot worse if it went undetected.

Im not sure exactly which of the many possible surgical procedures were used, but it's fairly standard practice to medically induce a coma to facilitate the healing process, and in this particular subset of brain surgery it's not uncommon for the patient to be unconcious for 3 weeks or more.

I talked with her today and here are one or two things that she said

Her voice is a little deeper atm cause of the respirator

When she woke up she didnt know wtf was going on.

Woke up and some guy explained how to breath for like 2 hours,
it was hard to get rid of the machine that was helping her breathe.

When she got home a few days later, her dog was bouncing around for about 20 mins straight, I don't speak the German variant of Canine personally but I get the distinct impression this translates into " OMG WELCOME BACK I MISSED YOU " I think the crazy tail wagging indicates capslock, and the duration of the bouncing indicates heartfelt and profound sincerity.

She isnt alowed to eat icecream yet ( oh noes! ) untill her belly gets used to food.

Lastly, Im glad that despite her absence, people still know that all their icecream are belong to Steena.
