In my most honest and crude opinion, animal abusing should be punished with eye by eye. Humanity is overrated.

I agree with most of that, although I think a moderate jail term is more fitting than "eye by eye"
I support the use of animals for food/dairy products etc, but of what value is beating the animals? If I owned those cows I'd find it more profitable to sell their produce instead of killing my own "property" for thrills.

Back in the day, human tribes picked off the sick, weak, and old, and the herds grew stronger because of it, their meat was almost always good.
Now days, the humans farm ALL of the herd and the whole herd grows weaker because of it, and as a result, we are feeding ourselves low-to-no quality meats.
Industrialized Humans are so much more stupid than they think their cleverness portrays them.
Uh, one buffalo bison is redundant. two we completely control the herd, there's no growing weaker because cows depend on our species for survival, they're effectively bred to feed us, we aren't " hunting" them or some such crap. That being said, since they ARE alive, and I do believe in basic decency. Animal abuse should not be tolerated, and shit should be HUMANE. It's more efficient, less horrifying/unethical and in general just better business, and "Free range" is just a fancy term that you're paying extra for, the meat is likely no better. Though I do agree buffalo is really good.

You're wrong on the account that the herd doesn't grow weaker. The Herd depends on humans for survival, and giving them food they would've had in the wild will certainly give them better health and better meat.
Personally, I don't give a damn about the meat I eat.Meat is meat. I like what's in front of me and I eat it.
