Is your laptop gpu the 480M? It's the only one that I'm sure has 2 gigs Vram. Perhaps the hd mobility 5870 has it too, not totally sure.

Yarl, i wanted to get a customized alienware, but they didn't ship to Thar land of chocolate, and ordering it here would make it about 20% more expensive (they charged the same amount of euros as dollars)
