Do you use a template or something? It took me like 30mins just to figure out how much to scale a circle horizontally just so it would come out a circle once it was wrapped. Then you've got these great textures that actually look like what they're supposed to, and everything lines up. You should do a little technique series. You know Ive looked and theres 3-4 tutorials on making a head spin but none on making one look good.
