Half life 1 - Was the pinnacle of 1st person shooters and will always be known as the game that changed them all.

so maybe halo's fun but you mustve been there playing half life 1 to really acknowledge its greatness

and well half life II - was the best of its time

Well actually Systemshock (for Dreamcast) started first person shooting. Basicly infleunced other first person games, including half-life. Still, Half-life two is awsome

Also, all those games posted up for poll (and more; from people who suggested the best games ever) are all good (except Mario Kart). But Toribash is THE best, otherwise why would people be playing it right now?

I still think that toribash shouldn't be on there. It's automaticly going to win.

yea I know half life wasnt the first 1st person shooter made but OMG it was great in every single way
