I think Firefox is the best, mainly because its the safest and reliable, also AdBlockPlus (and extensions) make sure your computer doesn't suffer from Ads and Pop ups.

Editing a thread on Firefox

Editing a thread on Chrome

So tell me Chrome users, do you think it would have been faster to set up my shop on Chrome or Firefox?

Oh, and btw on Firefox you can choose to use code view.

see?

<Crooked> I'd say spartan, cause if he's tough enough to digest ungodly amounts of alcohol he clearly has the best body

Aha, you just served the Chrome users xD
Firefox is long and expirenced and it listens to its users and makes updates based on feedback.

(offtopic: I really like them heads in your shop, you are talented)

I always have mine set to code view since the WYSIWYG editor is so annoying. Is this a trick question? For me it is much faster to use the code view :P Much cleaner too.

I think you can turn on WYSIWYG in your UCP options though.

Chrome has adblock to! But isn't Chrome safer and more reliable?

Hmm.. I don't know, I don't think its worth the hassle, if you can put up with Firefox eating you're memory I think its the safest browser out there :P
Gorman, didn't you see that firefox can switch between both easily WHILE I'm working in it? All I gotta do is press a little button

(This one to be specific: )

And anyone who doesn't have enough RAM to handle firefox should use chrome, simple as that.

Is that the only benefit of FF?

Wow, people are dumb, chrome uses more RAM on average for short term use than firefox, firefox uses more over long term simply because of memory leaks, if you close firefox and open it again, it will use less. Chrome maintains a more consistent RAM usage, but simply put Opera is the king of low spec, high performance.

WYSIWYG is a personal choice, I prefer to not have it, no discussion to be found.

Simply put, I use chrome, firefox and opera interchangeably, depending on what I need. Firefox is just about the best browser right now, however this changes every month, chrome 14 has two wins more than firefox as an example, last tomshardware grand prix was with chrome version 14, chrome is currently in version 15.

The general traits are:
Opera is light weight. (just check out it's 8 tab load speed in the benchmarks)
Chrome is an all rounder often winning by averages.
Firefox is powerful.
IE is competing over 3rd place and can't hope to get higher.
Safari is plain awful.

All that said I'm doing lots of javascript stuff right now and chrome kinda owns at javascript performance as of version 14.
Simply put firefox, opera, chrome, all very good, use opera for low spec or high compatibility (mobile devices and consoles for instance), use firefox for brute force, and use chrome for all around stuff.
