HTOTM: FUSION
the fixxed second version is the business.
a few tweaks though:
the overlayed grunge texture or whatever you did needs to be adjusted to match the countours/ridges of the face/skin. namely around the mouth and back area. makes it look flat. just liquify it or something to correct the lines to match. dunno, my general photoshop knowledge is pretty limited.

lower the contrast on the exposed muscle, its a little too red, almost looks like its glowing and looks fake.
not too sure if the actual muscles make sense on a face.
looks random as it is.
fixxing it might be a bit too much work though

overall, very nice work
i dont think you should consider adding too much to it, over complicating and adding useless bits will prolly just make it worse

That's not a normal face, BenDover. It's a mutant monster.
My work here is done.
<Marco> and then Oblivion tried to sexually assault me
<Oblivion> and Marco wasn't surprised at all
burn layer worked just fine!
But if you want to continue, dont overdo that it can ruin your head, happend to me many times

those dont resemble normal faces or jaw structure whatsoever though, nor is it fairly accurate, seeing as its made for a dark game where noticing individual texture aspects is fairly important, yours does somewhat, and is going to be scrutinised by a set of judges, so i think it should technically somewhat resemble a similar muscle structure, no super accurately, but so that it makes some kind of sense.

its a fairly major change to the current version seeing as it takes up about 1/4 of the texture, so its understandable if you dont

I'd love to see an ingame shot of this head.
