HTOTM: FUSION
SkulFuk is right, I never really found this game boring because I came in here knowing how difficult it will be to get the hang of the game.

But while SkulFuk is right and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, he should not say that the game is terrible. If he just said 'I do not like this game because (give valid reason here)', people would be getting less pissed about it and he would look mature rather than a jackass who thinks that something is bad because he does not like it.
Taken from the review- I'd applaud him, but if he asked me if I wanted to try it, I'd decline. In my hands, the dolls would end up as just a mess of tangled strings and wood

Basicly because he never put an effort to the game. Same goes for LoL, i told my sister to play it and she sucked ball and failled everything ( she has 20 years ).
So i guess LoL is also a bad game althought its on esl lols.

His reasoning seemed clear to me.

The game's free on PC which was an instant negative for the Wii version.
He found the controls difficult to use - something that I've seen brought up on here many times.
He didn't feel the tutorials taught him enough, and after doing them he still didn't understand how to play correctly - also a problem that's been brought up here for both Wii & PC.
He found the game boring, which when put in the context of his experience makes sense. If you're playing a game, you don't like the controls & even after doing the tutorials you don't understand it's normal to lose interest.

Also keep in mind this is a reviewer, they don't get paid to spend time with the games - they get paid to review a quota. It just happens Toribash is something that requires time most reviewers don't have.

IMO the dude didn't do anything wrong, he put forward his experience & opinion on it. Obviously he didn't think it was utter shite since it at least got a 4/10

People here often forget Toribash is a niche game, and a lot of people never master it. Hell most don't even last more than a couple of weeks before giving up.

I lol'd so hard.

But they are right, toribash isn't that exciting that it was before wii version. Teoritecaly wii version is better, but sorry, cannot into shit.
It still depends on your game preferences, what game type you like. I know some guys that plays it 12h per hour, and some people that I invited into toribash ended playing before they'vestarted it.

That's true.

The end statement is very true, there's no way Toribash can ever reach WoW or any other famous game status. Not unless it gets changed, alot.

^ thats true the most of new players dont have the motivation to get this game

Hehe I'm just gonna throw this out there:

If not mistaken, aren't a game's controls things you use to play said game, so how can anyone say the controls are bad when all you need is a mouse and keyboard to select which joints you want to use

Are you an artist and want to make a decent amount of TC? Check out this thread.
Toribash can be really hard to get into for some people.
I spent around 10 minutes playing single player before I got bored of it.
A week later i was bored some day so i thought i would play something boring and thats when I noticed it had multiplayer

Even though i have taken like a 4 month break from toribash on multiple occasions, mainly around school time, I still manage to find my way back on it because of its fun Multiplayer.

The problem is that to review a game you need to have a level of experience. A review is not a first impression. It is a detailed analysis of a game. A review must be detailed, and objective. This review was neither he played the game for a few hours, he mentioned the good things and that bad things. In my opinion that is not an effort worthy of being paid for. Any 15 year can output content of that level. A rating has no meaning on a review it is a symbol of subjectivity and every game would need to be measured against a different standard as not all developers are creating the same game. I would not mind so much if he said it was a criticism of Toribash Wii or a First Impression of Toribash Wii, but it is definitely not a review of Toribash.

He did not review the game. He is labelling it as a review. That is my problem with the article. Actually my problem is with IGN for the provide the requirement for a reviewer, and it shows with the general low quality of ign reviews.

Welcome to the internet, a land when most reviews are made on 1st impressions & no time is spent on the game.

Most 'big' sites are known for it.
