I rarely watch anime, but those i've seen don't look too promising. More like generic
and not very well thought out. Of course, i can't say whether i like anime or not
in general due to my lack of knowledge about it, but personally, i watch cartoons
for the laughs. Usually. There are of course a few exceptions, but i generally
like the funny ones more. (Read: Slapstick humor)
Yes, i am aware that there are funny moments in (some) animes, but as far as i know,
no one of them is dedicated solely to make you laugh. (I may be totally wrong though)
So my current opinion on anime is indifferent.

Books are WAY better than the shows.
Reason1: unedited and uncut.
Reason2: you don't fry your brain.

Eh, there aren't many animes/mangas I like,

A part from, Hajime no ippo, Hellsing, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Air Gear, and Ares (Manhwa).
You know, people who hate animes are usually the biggest hypocrites in the world. Anime is the exact same thing as most cartoons, only they're usually much more mature and designed for more intelligent people to understand because they span a few hundred connected episodes across each other as one giant movie. The majority of people who hate anime are those who are too stupid to even understand it. The rest are people intelligent enough to understand it who just don't like it. Those minorities are the ones I respect.

How to complain in style: GG, Mahulk.
IMO anime is good, but those who no other life than anime are pathetic losers, only anime i watch is hellsing, and that is not a cliche anime, there is no spikey haired youngster who saves the world nor the basic good side...
