Dying via drowning is a bad way to go
All air slowly escaping your lungs nothing you can do
Your vision slowing going black as the air fades away from you

Tbh I’m not really afraid of dying, if it’s my time to go, it’s my time ya know?

I’m more afraid of dying and getting forgotten or not having made a big enough impact on those around me.

anything slow is terrifying, like drowning, being buried alive, stuck in a hole, etc

One time I had a dream of walking at night unsuspectingly and having a gun muzzle pressed on the back of my head and being shot before I could react but with enough time to realise Im fucked. I dream of dying very often but that was more terrifying than any other I had, despite being a quick way to die I never forget it
