I keep playing Overwatch because of its solid ranked system and mechanics. I play League for the same reason.
I play Phasmophobia, Among Us, and Project Winter because of the social element (a focus on voice chat and especially proximity voice).
I play Borderlands and Destiny because they have an engaging story to keep you coming back.
Toribash doesn't have a single one of these things. The idea behind the game is cool but whenever I play, it ends up being 3 QA games before I give up. There's no reason for me to play at all. There's no story, no social element, no (good) ranked system. I feel like there's no direction or structure at all.
I think that's why so many people quit this game.

Icky. From what I've seen he acts like a complete child with peoples ban appeals, I don't have any screenshots to provide but I think any post he has made in ban appeals would suffice.
This post in particular on forums in a non-moderation way is also childish, sure its enclave and "haha everyone and staff can shit on enclave because" but the "you're an idiot" is not necessary.

the evidence you provided for chick is wholly unconvincing to me, just looks like he got ninja'd in the first one and affirmed with authority the response of a fellow community memberin the second. i'm not sure what the role of a toriagent is, are they supposed to check in on the beginner sanctuary often?

i personally don't see enclave doing anything out of the goodness of his own heart.
i thought he took it as a chance to gloat to staff "i see what you're doing in your back rooms, you're not getting past me".
i have some vague recollection of a wibbles controversy that enclave was a part of around the time of this post, so maybe it was excess frustration that icky tried to use to make enclave feel silly. i could be wrong though, so take this with a grain of salt.
i do remember thinking 'oh snap' when reading it for the first time, and maybe that's not the kind of reaction you want for a post from a staff member
then again, i'm not opposed to seeing someone who i think is a smug bastard get their ego brought down a few pegs

If you are a moderator, capable of closing or editing threads and deleting posts or threads, what is the purpose of editing a post to try to be funny?
this is a serious question to icky or whoever else has done this.
i get maybe trying to lighten up the thread or whatever but if its blatantly not funny why even save the edit.
edit: i think higher staff should take a closer and unbiased look at current staff members including ninjas and look at what they have said or how they have acted towards any member regardless of personal issues or beliefs, and finding any problematic or bad things a staff member has said shortly prior to or after becoming their position should be brought up and asked about.
if staff wants to get rid of bad members, they should get rid of bad staff also
for an example, if icky were help squad member and i were his lead and i saw that he had called a member an idiot publicly or privately(privately being in hidden threads or subforums like ban appeals), id be talking to him about it and expressing that he shouldnt conduct himself like that regardless of history he has with a particular person. Basically be unbiased to everyone and remain helpful.

i don't really get this point, humour is subjective and icky/chirs probably like the edits they make.
i don't think i've seen a whole lot of icky's edits, but chirs's edits were always humourous to me.

Yes, but in fairness to chick there haven't been any amount of posts in Technical Support or Beginner Sanctuary.
I'll highlight the problems I have though.

The goal of all this isn't to get Chick removed (though, it would be a decent idea) because he isn't outright damaging the staff team, however he's been a recurring name in this thread and, as someone who was involved with TA for a long time, I feel I can provide some insight seen as I've been worried about this applicant since day one. He is a very questionable pick and isn't cut out for the job in my opinion, and this is the evidence I've decided to provide to show why that's the case.
