Perhaps one day you'll visit, and see for yourself if its all you dreamed it would be. A few descriptions of how it is here:
It rains and is cloudy all the time.
It's under Canada, by the Pacific Ocean, many rivers and forests everywhere. It's called the Evergreen State. Bigfoot lives here. If you've seen Twilight *no need to claim your reasons why*, it takes place here.
Incredibly diverse in race, and very tolerant. Huge gay parades and people for the environment, and charities. It's a very peaceful and accepting place.
Beautiful huge snowy mountains, which means great skiing. The mountain I ski on is 2 hours away. Kayaking, paragliding, parasailing, hikes, it all happens here.
Seattle is an amazing city. You can look it up, quite touristic. Greys Anatomy is in this city, I think.
It's the center of Microsoft and Amazon. Bill Gates lives here. Where I live, every family has a house in the suburbs, with well paid programming jobs. Not much crime outside the city, other than the occasional teen suicide.
Even if it does get kind of dull at times, and the weather is depressing, it's not far away from California.
Oh, and the weed is legal for those over 21. Just sayin'
Now that I think it over, I love it here, haha
