Just under 10 minutes to render that one. And the program is only 6.1 mb. I'm so fucking impressed with it.
You can get it (a free version) here http://www.planetside.co.uk/content/view/16/28/ or just torrent it.
Terragen 2 is out, but the free version sucks, and the interface is completely different and more complicated than Terragen 1. You could torrent it, too. I just don't have it because I'm on mac.

It varies depending on how much water you have, and how dense you make your clouds. I'm rendering a new one to test water and clouds and things and I basically cranked the fuck out of them, it's been going an hour and it's about a quarter done. If you just have land and no water it renders like lightning fast.
