I tend to notice that people who hate their teachers are usually the ones who screw off and give the teachers an actual reason to be negative toward them.
"This teacher sucks, I don't learn a god damn thing!" is what I sometimes hear, and 90% of the time it's coming from someone who doesn't get work done, behaves inappropriately, or has a history of doing such.

This seems like a pretty huge generalization. Have any of you fellows complaining ever taken the time to ask the teacher how their weekend was? Or talk about something that's troubling you with them? Honestly, this year I've had some kind of silly teachers, but I'm not going to pretend for a damn second that I could do their job better than they could.

A lot of the older teachers are actually pretty nice, especially in high school. For instance, my ITE teacher once stayed at school for 2 hours after hometime, just to help one of my friends and I with an assignment. When you get these teachers who will read your assignment drafts in their own time, even if they don't even teach your class, you can't help but question the fact that all teachers are terrible people who designate their lives to make your miserable.

school isnt a super-happy-fun-zone where the teachers have to cater to your every want and need to amke sure your happy, your there to learn form the teachers who get paid to teach you

In junior high, I hated most of my teachers. But high school teachers are a much different story. Most of them are interesting and genuinely want to help kids succeed.

Well, I wouldn't say that teachers just do it for the money, but I wouldn't disregard that fact either. I'd like to think that MOST teachers teach cos they care about our future and genuinely want to help us.
I haven't really hated any teacher, most of my teachers were either nice or overly mean that it was funny.

as the matter of fact...teachers like scolding on students..thats what i believe...

I'm in High School, and I think 5 out of 6 of my teachers kick ass.
I only don't like my Word-Processing teacher, because the lights are always dim in the class making me sleepy, and the chairs hurt my ass.
