It's important to help stupid and worthless people be aware of their stature in life.

Standing up for yourself is easier said than done when you're the prime target of at least 5 people, all of which have some dumbfuck friends willing to help them bully you. That's not just asserting dominance, that's clusterfucking someone for shits and giggles. If i had pounded someone in the face, i might have gained some respect, but i would most likely have earned a beating at the hands of unknowing fucktards. It just wouldn't have been worth it.
That being said, i have acted very aggressively while angry, which may be one of the causes of the diminished bullying towards the end of primary school. Mostly verbally, but there has been more than one elbow in the ribs, and a few fits of uncontrollable rage too. Still didn't earn me the respect that any human deserves, though.

I was bullied a shitload in elementary and middle school. I almost went columbine, too.

So, I don't condone bullying when it hits a certain point.

to be honest, the word "bullying" has been dumbed down to such a childish level. "oh no, they're telling me that my new shirt looks explicitly gay". <- best example i could come up with, and todays kids are overreacting because of shit like this. grow a pair.

real bullying, though, is the absolute worst. even passive bullying. several people hassling a kid over and over again, every day. and the worst part is how teachers always go "oh but they always think it's in good fun, you have to make sure that they understand that you don't like it" at anti-bullying speeches. what a fucking load of shit, bullies know exactly what they're doing to you, and teachers trying to make it into the victims fault, well. teaching standards are low nowadays.

as for why bullies do it? they like being the big cheese, pushing people down in order to move up. kids are mean, and selfish. this is how we work.

Bullying is what happens when a school lacks a student hierarchy (they always do). In that case, people have to find a way to make their place in the food chain. It seems the that that peice of the puzzle was misplaced, and instead of it being based on your grades (highest to lowest), it's based on your ability to push others below you. That is done through bullying.

in other words, School is a cesspool of assholes and losers, and their parasitic relationship. GO TEAM
