@2pro : Sorry about that. And no,I still don't like it.Pretending I'm throwing a ball or pretending I'm gripping a steering wheel just doesn't cut it for me.I'd rather actually go bowling or attempt driving somewhere.Until they find a way to receive any kind of feedback(example: Some resistance on your fist when you punch somebody),I won't be entertained by such things.
I play games mostly to do things I would not be able to in real life. It's a different reality. It is unlikely that I could pick up a handgun on a stranded island, encounter 60 armed men and be able to kill them, somehow magically recovering from my wounds if I don't take damage for a short amount of time.Nah.It's unlikely that I will have a huge garage filled with Lamborghinis, armored SUV's and numerous ATV's.That is why I enjoy games,a lot is possible there.Unless you're Dan Osman or someone of similar skill,it is very unlikely that you could climb buildings as easily as Altair or Ezio in the Assassin's creed franchise(I've played the first two and barely finished them ... they're very repetitive in a non-fun way). Not that modern society would let you climb their precious buildings anyway.Alright, enough with the examples. If I am able to do something in real life without much negative consequence, chances are I'll do it there. But such "reality simulation" games like bowling .... well,no.I have my reality and I really want to change it.I have a different one(which is much more perfect, fun and bearable) in videogames. But unlike some stupid people I'm aware of,I don't mix the two.Don't expect me to be jumping from 100 meters into a haystack with the hope that I will easily survive unscathed.
