So many websites (including Youtube) would be shut down.
I think if all these people on the internet can figure this out, hopefully they can too.

Any updates on the status of the approval of this?

Infact there is, it's looking good but not good at the same time.

Here is an email I got today

I've never thought that the US government would be stupid enough to say what they did. If it does pass it will ofcourse affect FB and youtube. There'll always be copyrighted stuff there, and it's not being removed so easily. Because of this it does go under the ''violating sites'' that they're trying to bring down. And as this goes the worst case scenario would happen. Like randomguy8 said: ''Anonymous would go ape shit''.
