Lighting/Glow Body Parts

Hello community,

I've been thinking this idea for a few weeks ago and as I've seen no one has said it on a thread. Consist about some body parts glow, for example the fists, feet and maybe inside the textures too.

Details:

Body Parts
The effect may not be like an object or a flame, needs to be attached on the body part, like the textures (but isn't that at all). It's like the inside of tori glows and as its a light, must illuminate the place and the near objects or the opponent. I honestly don't know much how this can be created but I did an illustration of this.

Demo

Lighting on textures
The way this might be possible is to make an special requirement inside the art of the texture. Maybe a pattern or a specific color can be use it to activate the glow in-game.

Demo

Settings:

Intensity
The intensity of the glow shouldn't be changed by users, because if it's able to change it, someone can set the intensity too high and will annoying and may lag. So it would be better and easy if its set to one level for default.

Colors
To change the color can be on the forum's options where you can select them. Each glow might be with a different color.

So this was the idea so far. I'm pretty sure you guys may have some good ideas for this. Thanks for read it, hope you like it.

This would be a great edition to the game, but I imagine it would be extremely expensive and heavily abused. Hopefully there would be an option for toggling it off and on similar to the ones that have been developed for particles such as flames and even sets themselves ( assuming this will be implemented in a later version of toribash, perhaps 5.0 or 5.1).
For distribution, I would think it would be purchasable similar to how textures or even joint textures are purchased, no? I would imagine a higher price than joint textures, however, considering it's giving the players every option of colour in the game as well as adding a "glow" effect on top of it, resulting in a price point of around 40k, taking into consideration that the glow would have no resolution besides 512 (maybe).
tl:dr Good idea, but pricing will be a pain and a heartbreak for many user's wallets.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm just going to jump on the supported boat because I really like this idea.
I wouldn't worry too much about the pricing though. To get a decent flame you need what, like 35k? Not much difference.
alright guy
yeah sooo. in minimum graphics (which many many many people play with) i don't really see it working as well as it would with shaders and such
That baby aint mine
There is no reason this should not happen.
It is so beautiful, this is the cool thing for having a small community.
SUPPORTED!

there will be the option to disable it like there is an option to disable textures. and the cold hard truth of the gaming world is that games reward you for having a stronger computer by giving you all the special bells and whistles that make the game look nicer. if you don't have a strong computer they will give you a little tic box that allows you to disable the function it's a cruel world.

Seems really good. I think features like this would make customization even more interesting, one time that, many people who have been playing since 2011, 2012, 2013... have been getting boring with some stuff that haven't been changing that much.
Would be even better if it works as graphics update and not as special items like people have been saying.
Supported.
much support
and maybe you could have separate relaxes and forces with a glow? or when you purchase relaxes and forces in the shop you can opt to purchase default or glow?
