Toribash

Revive Toribash
Toribash needs a revive, all it will take is a superficial update with flashy marketing/advertising, some swagged out videos. and then active moderating on beginner servers to keep out smurfs. with decent marketing and decent moderating 100% this game can get a revive, there is no other game competing against it.

Plz don't let it die slowly as its player base gets older and fades away.

Implying that toribash doesn't strictly advertise what the game is about and overcharges their customers for a very false experience. If you're going to be critical of advertisement that doesn't even exist yet, at least make it logical.

A new tutorial is definitely needed, I don't know how hard it would be to make one though. The biggest draw to this game I think is the competitive aspect of it, and how much you can customize your tori, with belt ranks going up in increments after 10,000 games, I can see why it would be annoying for some players that just want a high QI item but dont want to have to max their daily QI for a while in order to get it, or have to pay lots of money or tc for no qi items or full sets or even to buy QI.

tl;dr im gonna try to make a forum tutorial to help noobs understand how to move their tori

I think a video tutorial on how to play in general and possibly some pointers for the popular modlist would be a nice addition to the toribash tutorial. Maybe a later project could be developing a (fairly high-quality) rough draft

I think I might be retired.
I think the tutorial could be made in like "stages" with different mods.

Per example; stage 1 grabbing "your tori sits at a table and your goal is to grab a glass that is underneath your arm

The stages would always get harder and the last stage would be something like "reach this point with any part of your tori" and that would be in an extra easy "parkour map" (a straight road with a box item in the way)

About advertisement: i think we could work out advertisements for each aspect of the game and then place them visely. Per example a customization ad on a creative website/yt channel or a parkour replay montage on a freerunning/parkour channel

Stages sound wonderful. Since they gradually get harder it means you need to use your brain a little more to figure out how to do stuff without it being too difficult.

you should also get achievements for beating the stages or the tut. in general, to make the newbies feel like they accomplished something and were rewarded for it...

753356 people played 20 games to get yellow belt,
31213 people played 1000 games to get black belt, just a mere
1781 people played 10k games to get 10th dan,833 ppl got master
and 579 got to custom

the worst part apparently are the 4 million players that abandoned the game
before even playing 20 games, but lets say they didn't understand the game,
they got hyped, they got bored etc.

in truth the worst part is later were you see dedicated players, that played
the game and they know the game, quitting.

so 2 major problems, the newly attracted players never start playing
and the older dedicated players stop after awhile for various reasons

I wouldn't call this correct. More than half the time, people have 5+ alts (as jokes/real smurfs, who knows)

But, we get the point I suppose.

How about you get tc or an item for finishing it? I don't think achievements are a good motivation source
Refreshing the entire Achievement system would be nice.

Make it flashy and dank.
Reset it for all users.
Remove special achievements, make everything accecible for everyone.
Make it harder, and more flashy.
Achievement tabs ingame?

When it comes to tc
Do what every other game that tries to keep a stable economy does every year..
Cut the money in half, just simply delete 50% of all the tc in the game.
Delete 50% from every user.. Problem solved.. And noboddy has any reason to complain about it.

I think keeping some legacy achievements would be nice, to show off your time here. I'm also not sure deleting all of the achievements for players is a good idea, seeing as a lot of them can't be achieved after a certain rank/belt/etc.
I think I might be retired.

i made an example grohenbird,do you know what an example is,can you
understand it?

you imply things,not me.

The example i made was, that just advertising to bring in new players
is not going to be enough to keep them around.
