Nakkrin is the dragon priest that blocks your path when you need to get to Sovngarde, in main/dragon storyline. It helps with magic and 2 other things, gives more amor protection but is classified as heavy armor.

You don't need it to get to Sovngarde however, you can just simply spam the "Clear Skies" shout and walk through. Btw.. Keep the mask, never sell any of the masks and don't keep them in a chest (because items disappear in chests like a "theif" has stolen them). You get something nice for all of them ;3
