yeah, it is actually really bad... damn it D:
She/They

Yeah, I only don't like erthtkv2 because of the mod's name. Make it "tkv2," and the mod will instantly become more popular. This is a valid reason as the name of the mod is still an important feature that no one seems to have yet discussed.
Oh god no.
Last time I heard something like that was when I was taking the pee out of Tart on his own tourney D=
Out of nowhere, I arrive.
[PROP] Raid Cup '10

It is with great pleasure that I announce to you the start of the first Raid sponsored Toribash cup. Designed to separate the men from the boys, the weak from the strong, the best from th... Well you get the point.

The Raid Cup is an event of huge proportions which starts with a qualifying round of 16 tournaments to find Toribash's elite players and ends with a knockout stage competing Toribash's strongest 32 players in varying mods to find the strongest player out there! With a tone of cool prizes and the promise of exciting, fresh and spectacular game play this really isn't one to miss. So let's get into the details.

Qualifying

So you're interested, right? Well earning a place amongst the 32 elites couldn't be any fairer. All you have to do is visit one of our 16 in-game competitions and come either in first place or second place. These chances will be spread over numerous days and GMTs to allow everyone a fair chance to attempt to qualify.

These tournaments will follow a simple knockout structure with the last two standing players, making it to the big league and that one step closer to earning the title of Raid Cup 2010 and all the glorious prizes that come with it.

Qualifying Rules/Need to Know
  • Fortunately for you low belted members, there isn't a belt limit everyone is welcome.
  • Once you have qualified you are no longer welcome in these tournaments. Any player caught trying to qualify more than once will be instantly disqualified from the WHOLE cup, you will be reminded before the tournament starts so there is no excuse. We can always find more players.
  • These tournaments will follow the usual rules regarding advertising, flaming, colours etc you'll be warned by the host then muted/kicked at their discretion.
  • These qualifying tournaments will cycle between Judo.tbm, Wushu.tbm, Aikido.tbm and Taekkyon.tbm. See the schedule below to check the mod before hand.
  • There will be cool prizes along the way in these tournaments.
  • A global message will be sent out beforehand, as well as post in this thread to remind you of an up and coming qualifier.

Knockout Stage

In this stage the 32 winners from the qualifying stage will be pitted against each other in a typical knockout format to find the winner. The matches will be decided in the format of: The player who qualifies in 1st from the first qualifier will play the player who came in 2nd place from the second qualifier, as the player who came in 2nd place in the first qualifier plays the player who came 1st in the second qualifier. If you are unsure check the chart below which will be updated after every second qualifier to contain fight information.

In this stage each player will play three matches. Match one will be in Wushu.tbm, match two will be in Aikido.tbm and finally match three will be Taekkyon.tbm. It follows a best of three format with the player winning the most matches moving on.

Because of the difficulty of this situation we would like to players to arrange their own matches between themselves, if you find it to difficult to do this contact a Raid member here(INSERT LINK TO IRC CHANNEL) and they will assist you with organising the match. If it becomes to difficult we will arrange a change in opponent.

Each match you fight needs to be supervised by a Raid member, so if you can let us know (PM Fee, Crux, anyone else who wants it) beforehand that would be great. Then once you are ready go here(INSERT LINK TO IRC CHANNEL) and grab a Raid member to supervise.

Prizes

So let's get to the important stuff, what sort of prize are we offering here, well for first place...
  1. Large sum of TC
  2. Badass items of some sort
  3. Hopefully a non-trade-able item symbolising Raid's Cup
  4. Hopefully an achievement

And the lucky member who gets second place will receive...
  1. Smaller sum of TC
  2. Less badass items of some sort
