Blood Dragons were kind of easy even at the start. You probably met an elder dragon by now and just didn't know it. It's one of those dragons that keep circling in the sky without attacking anybody. If you can get a hit on it then they will behave like normal ones and start attacking you and villages in the future.
I remember seeing that when I was a really low level. I was trying to shoot it with arrows when it came lower, shoot lightning at it, use shouts. I guess I kept missing because every time I thought I hit the dragon he just kept circling the air. Eventually left, good thing I never hit it because I was like level 6 when I saw one haha.
Oh you must have done a bit of the main quest then. I took my time with the main quest so I only saw them when I was level 20-ish. Took a lot of tries to actually hit it and the first encounter was a bit scarry xD

Yes, I had the main quest done before anything else because I was just so excited for it. I beat the main quest last Saturday when I was like level 15, and got to about level 25 on Sunday before my xbox broke.
Also, yeah, I'm really amped now to get my xbox back now because of all these new things people are finding. I'm sure there are so many more things people haven't found yet as well and I really want to search for secrets :P
