Tasks of the Week!
*Competition Ended*
Tasks of the Week - Week 4 (is over)!




Brief explanation
- At the start of each week, 6 tasks will be assigned by me, the Taskmaster.
- Complete the tasks to win points.
- At the end of each week, scores will be updated.
- The competition will last 4 weeks, unless a consensus vote for a longer period occurs.
- At the end of the competition, the top 5 will be awarded prizes accordingly:

1st prize: 80k goes to GrayveXP
2nd prize:50k goes to BRvitroBR
3rd prize: 30k + Full Orc goes to Dragoblade
4th Prize: 24k + Full Chronos goes to ilasaigues
5th Prize: 16k + Full Gladiator goes to Dragenon
6th prize: Pat on the back goes to caelquinn xD

Easy (1 point):

- Playing God

I want you think of at least 3 different creatures, real or mythological, then draw a hand-drawn (pen, pencil, etc) picture combining those creatures into one creature. So I want one creature, made up of the features of at least 3 other creatures. Give it a name if you like :]

Everyone feels stress from time to time, some people more than others. For this task I want you to practice meditation for at least 3 days in a row. A variety of different styles and instructions can be found HERE.

DAY THREE: COMPLEATED!
Medium (3 points):

- Super-Continental Food Challenge

Eat a traditional meal from any 3 of the following six continents - Europe, Australasia, Africa, North America, South America and Asia.
ONE: PIZZA(italy)
TWO:curri type wrap thing(mexico)
THREE:english breakfast(name is where it is )


Bonus: For this task, I will award an extra point on top of the normal 3 for every extra continent you have a meal from, making a maximum of 6 points available for this task.

I will only require visual evidence of this task if you go for any bonus points.


- Trapped In Time

Today is 25th January, 2010. When you read this thread tomorrow though, that day, that moment will be gone. This moment is condemned to the past, left behind forever, the only vague residue to show its existence being slowly withered away to insignificance by time. But one date and time will now be created to hold special significance for you, by you. To pass this task, you need to create a time-capsule: Now, any container can be used - shoe-box, old ice-cream box or anything else of a reasonable size. You will then put a number of items of some significance to you now into the box (nothing essential like a passport). Among these items must be a letter that you will write to your future self. You will then seal the time-capsule and will label the time and date on it. You will then label another time and date for opening the capsule (5-10 years?) and put it away at the back of a cupboard (or bury it if you like). Then, you can forget about it. Visual evidence required.

Hard (5 points):

- Different Day

Pick one day out of the next 7. During this day, I want you to do things completely different, as if you were another person. To complete this task, you must list at least 20 things(major or minor) you did differently during the chosen day. These could be something simple as getting up earlier than you usually do, or getting up later if youre usually an early bird. It could be something major like taking a bus or train to go visit someone in the next town, either way, I want the day to feel like youre someone else.


HERE : MY DAY IS TODAY!

1:woke up 2 hours early
2:did some exersise for parkour training
3:let my brother play xbox without kicking him off 10 min later(he played for 2 hours)
4:looked after my baby brother for 3 hours while my mom and dad were out
5:whent for a 1/4 mile run round the neighborhood
6:CLEANED MY ROOM WITHOUT COMPLAINING...WOOT!
7:got closer then ever to a girl i know(sat right next to her while she took a photo of us both (kinda like her and im always to nevous around her))
8:let my other brother play some of my pc games(i never let him...EVER)
9:looked around the internet about and learnt about global warming(most boring thing ive ever done )
10:didnt go straight to my pc while i was out of my bed(i always do)
11:had a nice chat with my grampa
12:taught my grampa how to work facebook-gmail and stuff
13:took out the rubbish
14:clean'd the garden(swept the leaves up straightend the chairs ect ect
15:gave my dads car a hose down
16:i hate games like perfect world but i decided to do it today and play it
17:did some art/manga drawing wich is something i dont really do(love it though )
18:got through a day without insulting somone inggame (i never start it)
19:got a new BRIGHT backround for my desktop(i usually have dark ones)
20!:ate a big mac...WITH ALL THE ONIONS/RELISH THAT I HATE

Every likes learning to do new things, especially if they look quite impressive. I want you to learn origami. You have to successfully fold 5 different models. It is acceptable to follow instructions given from a book or from the internet. Some examples of origami models and their instructions can be found HERE.

I require visual evidence for each of these models.




Note: You may post normal comments and proof of task completion here, but please, if you have any questions, please pm me, don't swamp this thread with queries.

Note2: If you do not have a camera with which to provide visual evidence for certain tasks, find someone that you know who does have a camera, or use a webcam, or someone elses webcam, or use an internet cafe, etc. There's no excuse for not being able to provide visual evidence.

EDIT: 2 and 5 are different...teh parkour training was just pushups in my room and that type of exersise the other one was just ging for a wak/run

Dam... This week tasks are harder... Well. The first one, can I make it in Adobe Illustrator? Bacause I don't have my camera working... The second will be easy because my dad do that every morning, and I live next to a Buddhist Temple. Well, waiting answers....

Sorry about the image... Well, I made 3 creatures Hooko, Plax and Spikon. Then i mix all of them and created... Hookon-X!!!(The big one)

As I'm a peacefull soul, I'll "Meditate For Peace" I'll start today, before sleeping. So after tomorrow I'll be done... If I like doing it, maybe I'll keep doing it ^^ For real. DONE!!!

This is you 5 years ago. I made this time capsule for an toribash event, but I hope you understand the real meaning of this. In this box you'll find these things: my first digital watch, 5 chaotic cards, my "magic" stone, my favorite art camp stamp, an native emblem and my favorite Offspring CD.

That the past never dies. You.

1-I woke up at 6 AM... Can't imagine how I made it but... (Usualy I woke up at 11 o'clock.)
2-I ate candies at breakfast... Lol... (Usualy I ate food...)
3-I made my bed.
4-Run 5 miles to the bakery.
5-Bought bread and other stuff.
6-Walked 3 miles to the soccer club.
7-Played soccer.
8-Bought a soccer ball to my brother.
9-Called a cab, and I went home.
10-Ate Feijoada.
11-Ate icecream.
12-Slept 1 hour.
13-Jumped in the lake... Again.
14-Entered in a house under construction.
15-Made some origami.
16-Buryed my time capsule.
17-Took 2 showers.
18-Ate japanese food.
19-I said, MEDITATE ^^.
20-Bed at 1 o'clock.

You need to do this for 3 days at least. You can do it as many times in a day as you like, you just need to do it at least once per day for 3 days running (in a row).

I'm posting those pictures as soon as I ate them... Pizza I'll eat as dinner today. Feijoada tommorow at lunch, and Sushi tomorrow at dinner ^^

Unfortunately it needs to 20 things in one single day! So if you want to do this tomorrow, you'll need to do 20 again! :/ I will accept the 10 youve already done if you want to use those as part of your 20.

Cal, about the meditation, I still need 2 days. Tomorrow, I'll get the sushi image and feijoada also. And about "A Different Day", I'll do those 10, more ten, so I'll try to make a poster, play with my dog, buy stuff... You know ^^... So, 13 points wait for me!
