Most of the games on the PS2 were already on the other consoles, unless you want to play some crash bandicoot on a system able to handle almost any new gen game out there

I doubt Ill get a Wii because one of my friends is a big nintendo nut and hes gonna have every game anyway, Ill just stick to PC games until i get off my lazy bum and get a job to buy an XBOX360 =]

Gotta be Wii! I'm really looking forward to it's launch. Sony are fairly retarded. Price of PSP & Game = £169.99 (On Amazon.co.uk) Full price of Nintendo Wii console (+Wii sports, naturally.) = 179.99. Price of PS3 = The moon on a stick and the blood of your firstborn.
I'm not ever going to pay as much as Sony are touting for their handheld, let alone their console. I'm fairly sure that I'm about within their demographic; 18-30 YO male, reasonably well paid job (Admittedly part-time while I go to university) impulse-gadget-buying-iPod-owning type. The PS3 simply doesn't excite me at all. We have one in the building that I work in (Not like... on or anything, I think they're just using it for training) (The upstairs is Sony Helpdesk stuff) For the UK (We don't get the PS3 until March, mind.) This should be a big deal, but I really don't give a hoot. They can keep their wildly overpriced radiator-looking dealie. At least the Batarang controllers had SOMETHING to them!
If there was a Wii upstairs I'd probably be rampaging about trying to find it.
Buy a 360 AND a Wii, it'll probably work out the same price.

People are saying the PS3 doesnt have many good new titles coming out for it. All I can say is they are crazy. It has some really cool new titles coming out for it such as Assasins Creed, The Darkness, Resistance, Army of Two, MotorStorm and many other new games. There are also new games in a series coming out which also look cool such as the new GTA, MGS4, the new tony hawk game and others.

Just these games alone would last me for a couple of months once i buy the PS3. One person also was also saying they would buy a Xbox360 even though they have a PC. That is just plain stupid. Any worthwhile games on the Xbox360 will eventually come out on the PC for a lower cost, and better graphics. And they are also saying "YAY HALO" which is the series that gets my award for the most highly overrated series of all time. The halo series not innovative at all and there are much more fun multiplayer games out there such as Red Faction 2 (which was made way before yet still kicks Halo's ass) and the timesplitters series.

And the people complaining about the price of the PS3 really remind me of the people complaining about the price of toribash. Sure toribash was worth 20$ which is worth much more than some other games but it is definatly worth it. The same goes for the PS3. It is much more expencive than the other systems but it is definatly worth it.

No one has answered my question yet. What good games are coming out for the Wii?? All i can think of is red steel and the new SSBM which will be o.K but probably be pretty much like the last 2.

PS3 rocks, simply put, every whiny excuse made by Wii fanboys are mostly badly researched and entirely favouritism bigoted Bullcrap spoken out of angst and a rather awkward swollen head.

Sufficed to say Ps3 can do everything Wii can do plus ten-fold (excluding the gimmicky controllers, because our gimmicky controllers rank slightly less on the gimmick-o-meter).

Sony likes to sell the licenses to their games (such as Crash Bandicoot) so they can get more money. I'm pretty sure Assassin's Creed is coming out for the 360. The only unique stuuf is Metal gear solid, gran turismo, devil may cry and the FF13's.
