This has gone on slightly too long, and I'm ranting. If you really want to read that up there and pay attention to it (and that is all factual, I can guarantee that) then go ahead. But my point is (which didn't come across clearly) was that the PS3 will most likely follow in the footsteps of the PS2 rather than the PSP. And the PS2 sucked
I bought my PS2 before the Xbox even came out and it is still working perfectly right now. My friend had an Xbox and it just died. It stopped working completely. Also the PS2 was infinetly better than the gamecube and the Xbox. The gamecube only had 2 good games (RE4 and SMSB) and the Xbox doesnt have any good games that i can think of.

It doesnt really deserve that much respect. What is the point of haveing it if all the games eventually come out for the PC for less money and better graphics. Also the only game that looks any good and original on it is Gears of War.
Bloodhound gave majority examples. One reason why the PS2 had a second model come out was because the PS2 had a limited lifespan (FACT) - I know only one person who still has a working original, and it was because she never played it.
XBox's are far more durable than the original PS2 in such a respect, so that argument, Pat, is completely null.
Also, infinitely better? XBox was... twice as powerful as the PS2... If you say 'infinite' as 'half', then you may just be right.
And if you turn to the oh so fateful arguement that many have turned to, 'Microsoft are money whores' I'll let you know- they only started making a profit off the XBox franchise last year. Plus, Microsoft, as a company, are not that high in terms of value.

I say it was infinately better because it had much better games. In fact i cant really even think of one really fun game on the xbox. There were waaayyy more fun games on the PS2 than the xbox. Also i have a working original ps2 and i have played on it hundreds of hours at least. People who have their ps2s break must take really shitty care of them.

Thats your personal opinion, and your personal lifestyle. Like I said, most of my friends who have had a PS2 had to buy at least 1 other, and only one person I know who had an XBox said it broke- the rest all still work fine.
And if your gonna say the PS2 is infinitely better, your wrong. Period. It wasn't better. It was alot worse. Saying the games were better is left to complete opinion- but those don't go with the console hand in hand. Besides, Xbox did sell more games than the PS2 overall, so whereas your opinion is 'there aren't any fun games on the XBox' (try looking next time- half of their exclusive titles were utter crap) the statistics show that the XBox games were in fact alot better. I don't like going by statistics, but I don't like people stating their personal opinion in an arguement and expecting it to hold either.

No, there was a manufacturing error with the laser reader. Which is one of the main reasons they made the slimline.

Patrick I really don't think thats true. And Patrick Of course The computer can do more like microsoft word, Paint shop pro etc etc etc but if you want a good gaming experience the Xbox 360 is a smart option. Also Patrick don't let your arguments be controled by your opinions.
