I thought we needed Electrolytes?

Also A question:
Would they mass produce Halal meat? Would they find the time to Accurately slit the throat of every cow and chant a prayer of each one?
Or is it more of a private thing?
OR would they chant a prayer over all the produce before it is sent to the super markets to save time?
Feeling like a Boss when you get the last word.
Interesting point. Yes, there is massproducing of halal meat. Most muslim immigrants won't slaughter cows in their houses/apartments, and most won't have access to a muslim farm either (and if such a thing even exists I don't know).
I used to live right by a muslim neighborhood, and there was a store, and it had massproduced halal meat, wrapped in plastic containers and sold just like regular meat (not sure about the price, but it would seem that selling normal meat as halal meat for a bigger price would be profitable). Now, the question is, exactly how halal is the meat you're buying? Seems like just another religious safety-illusion to me.
EDIT: I like how Gorm*n tries to preach for political correctness in this thread, while he spouts anti-religious crap in the name of science in others. I just found that interesting.
As you may have noticed in OP's video, it is mass produced and is in supermarkets etc.
As for 'how halal' meat is, that is a good question. I would gather that like everything it varies, I am sure the halal meat in Saudi is 'more halal' than that in the UK.
Where I live at least, halal meat and regular meat cost the same. I guess the cost of prayer is approximately the cost of 40 thousand volts.
to the muslims that posted
Cute
EDIT: Coincidently I posted this from Gurman.
I would just like to add that the reason I didn't watch the video is because the portable modem I'm on can't handle it. You usually also get a nice idea of what the video says by reading through a thread (which I did, post by post, woe is me). I don't make a habit out of arguing confirmed facts, so.
So is the holiness of the meat measured in... %? How big the chance of you making it to heaven is?
The point I'm crawling ever so slightly towards is: Why inflict unnecessary pain for a null reason. I doubt Allah would approve of eating mass-produced meat from factories anyway. All the arguments in this thread saying "what's the point of inflicting less pain if we can't remove it completely" are stupid. There's a reason why there's regulation for how livestock is supposed to be killed, and there is punishment for breaking those laws. Torture is torture, whether the inflicted is human or not. It's especially gruesome if it can be avoided. You don't have to be a "bleeding-heart liberal" to think that way.
So, noone has drawn a line to sacrifice yet, something that is illegal almost everywhere? This is a barbaric ritual, and they should move forward like the rest of the world.
