Let us note, first; Slipknot, saying that, as a non-Christian I am condemned to an eternity of suffering does not bode well by me, especially when you decide your source is a book with more contradictions than a 5-sided rectangle. If you think that we'll go to Hell because we don't enjoy the idea of worshipping a Deity that is both omnipresent yet absent, omniscient yet sometimes ignorant, and omnipotent yet manifests no power, thats fine. But I don't think its a good idea for you to say we WILL. You don't know that. You BELIEVE that. I wouldn't tell you 'Christianity is just an offspring religion of which many followers were just 'hopping on the bandwagon' - I don;t know that, but it seems like that could be the case. Show your views, but don't bother spouting that elitist crap that Christians are better, and they will go to Heaven. I do beleive some sects of Islam have the same ideas, so either way, your doomed, because you 'don't follow the right religion'.
Secondly; Unless you can read Hebrew, don't even bother pretending you would know exactly what the Bible says. People will twist it in translations. What better way to convert more people than to promote the Greatness of your religion and degradate others in Holy Texts? I think thats reason enough to doubt that everything in the Bible is true to word.
And lastly; There are explanations for quite a few phenomena in the Bible (not all). And just to get this out of the way, Jesus wasn't white.
Oh, and if you wish to dispute this, you're welcome to. Just because I say so doesn't mean it even runs through fully in my head.
