So. This happens everyday. If you weren't aware this happened, then you are ignorant. In reality you will forgot about the video tomorrow and go back to eating meat. So unless you plan on becoming a vegetarian and stop directly supporting the industry, stop being a hypocrite.

A government could easily pass laws that prohibit cruelty like that.
The production would be a little more expensive, but that is a minor side effect that the market will adapt and get used to.
The government isn't going to pass through laws which make companies financially suffer, especially in this day and age. Neither will they raise the price of meat to the consumer. Also, I like how you say a little more expensive without really knowing much on the subject. Now I don't claim to but I think we can both speculate treating these animals like house-pets would not be cheap.

There's no justification for animal abuse, and neither is there any point in remaking this topic 3 times.
edit: mookiefish is a troll and needs to be removed from local mod already.
No, we're not justifying animal abuse. We're arguing that the current methods used in the slaughter house industry are humane enough to be deemed acceptable.

Last I checked tenderizing them via a crowbar to the face was not part of the typical slaughterhouse procedure.
None of us are trying to justify the senseless cruelty in the video. Yes, it's illegal and quite disgusting to watch, in that case perhaps animals should have more rights and owners/company workers should face harsher punishments for uneeded suffering dealt upon these animals.

humans need a more humane way to sort the mean issue.
and with those male chicks.
what is with that. why would u kill them all because they dont lay.
they should be given to some sort of farm.(not that type of farm)
It said in the video why the male chicks are not kept. They don't grow fast enough to make them profitable. Seems like a shame, but that's life I'm afraid.

but this isnt the right way to get the meat from animals, if i would just see one of them i would smash their head right into the ground like they did with the animals... horrible people nowadays dont give a fuck about how a animal feels...
Stunning and cutting the throat of the animal is actually quite humane. Like I have said over and over again the methods in the video may look shocking or brutal but they have been developed over a long time to be efficient whilst keeping the animal's suffering to a minimum.

No, I am not shocked. I was perfectly aware that this happened. Sure, I don't enjoy seeing it. Especially the botched killing and cruelty for the sake of cruelty. But no, other than that, this happens everyday and I am willing to accept that it is necessary.
