Chelsea's playing style: Wear down the other team in the first half, then beat them in the second half. They really don't play offensive in the first half.

Well in my opinion, they played that blocking style until bayern shot that goal. Bayern was the better team the whole time. If chelsea is always playing like that, then they should definately stop playing football, since thats not really enjoyable anymore, or should create their own sport called blockball.

Also, if you watched that match on TV, alot of the chelsea fans didn't really look happy about what happened on the place, so I doubt that they are used to such a playstyle.

Roberto Di Matteo must win that match in order to seal his position as manager for Chelsea. I'm not surprised he did such tactics. They could've gone for the offensive and still win it though but I think Roberto Di Matteo didn't wan't to risk that much.
