More QI?
I have a short idea. My idea is that instead of just tc that public tourneys give, they could give qi boosts? Feel free to add on to the idea.

This idea IS farming, so you would just be pointing out that fact if you farmed. The staff aren't going to "give in"
Chickster: I literally don't know why I did it.
Erm, in this thread: http://forum.toribash.com/showthread.php?t=427062

And why isn't this idea farming^?

I never said I am going to farm if this idea isn't implemented, I just support it.
Anyway, I don't see the idea of it being farming, it would only be in a certain public server, so you couldn't set a password and farm with a friend.
In my opinion this idea will completely ruin the meaning of Qi. I understand this is a game but is also a realistic game and Qi is supposed to mean your belt (Skill Level) I know there are ways to buy boosters and Qi itself but that is one of the only ways of Nabi Studios to make money to keep this great game up and running. Apart from that most people do not buy Qi and their actual Qi could mean their skill level or at least give an idea of how good they are. This will also encourage farming ALOT, people will want to get Qi faster and tourneys will then be ruined by alts or high level players just winning every single tourney while getting their Qi cap in 1 hour.

~Not Supported. Sorry.

Qi is not a measurement of skill it is games played so it already doesnt mean any thing except a minimum time someone has been playing which still isn't accurate i support this becuase not everybody has the time to hit the qi limit it wouldn't hurt any one if the first 5-10 minute you play every 24hrs you get a 1.5 boost in qi.
I don't like military time, I prefer metric or imperial.
not supported these things shouldve been added fro when tb started and not now that means the black belt player in new system will be hard to beat a brown belt from the new system of qi this will rune everything farmers will have less time to get hight belts. No no and no to this idea.
I walk a lonely road
the only one that I have ever known
It would be useless since you already have a way to get qi boosts, I know the same goes for tc but it's unfair cause you see high belts playing at a low skill level,

Unsupported.

I don't exist
high belts already play at a low skill level you dont have to win to gain belts.

The point in belts is not skill it's experience. Even if it measured skill, I for example learn more when I lose than when I win, so a high belt doesn't necessarily have to win or have a certain level of skill to actually "represent" that belt. This idea will alter the belt system in such a way we would probably start seeing 5th Dans only being able to move a couple of joints at a time because they do not have the experience or skill to actually represent their belt. A 5th Dan is supposed to be a somewhat experienced player that can play the game quite well and understands how the game actually works. We would start seeing people that are in the brown-black belt skill level already on 3rd-5th Dans in belt.

agree with toxic the idiea is so simple the guy who opened this thread waqs thinking of farming qi means how much time you spent on trying things out and that means how much experienced you are
Welcome me back maybe?

My friend here has a point, just play fast mods like those quick akido matches, helped me a bunch, and even though you're qi doesn't determine your skill level, it still explains a lot why people are arguing with this, they want to earn their qi not cheat their way there with a booster ~Not supported.
Ah Shit.
