who are you to say who lives and dies. You can't, everybody is assuming that he will have a troubled life if put through adoption. Statistics are based on past events. Nothing is for certain.

You can't deprive a child of a life just because you assume that it is going to be a bad one.

That is not for us to control, everybody lives for a purpose and thinking you can play god and chose weather someone lives or dies is just stupid.

I was in foster care all my life and I am not troubled I am living a good life. This can happen to many others if given the chance.

We are not "assuming". We are working with statistics. You are the one going on "Well maaaybe he will have a good life, so lets put it up with trouble"

But I dont really see the point in arguing with you. You have been presented with so many points that counter yours but you repeat the same stuff.

All the points are stupid, statistics cant show the future they only judge on the past there is no say for certain that they would have a bad life.

If I jump from a bridge, there is a chance that I will live. But I will probably die. But whatever, statistics are meaningless, you cannot say for certain.

Statistics exist so that we can make decisions upon them. If I ever had to decide this, I would work with these statistics. I would rather not have it even know that it was concieved rather than having it live through a very, very rough life.

It's not the adoption that is bad, but that only 48% have been adopted in 2012. That's a like throwing a coin. You are just basing everything on the religious view that we are all here for a reason, we all have a purpose and something to do before dying.

As you said, nothing is certain, so we can only base our decisions on statistics and probabilities if we don't know anything more.

Want another example? Here it is. 10 guys jump from a 5 meters wall. 8 of them broke several bones. 1 died. 1 landed perfectly fine. Now, knowing that, would you jump from that wall? Experience from the past is the only thing we have to decide.

Edit: duck ninjad my example
"Statistics don't mean anything because they're measurements of the past, now listen to my personal past and accept it as rationale for my argument."

Please tell me I don't need to explain any further why your reasoning makes no sense.
nyan :3
Youtube Channel i sometimes post videos of other games
Nothing is certain, so how can we judge who gets to live and who gets to die simply on stupid statistics.

It is not our job to dictate who gets to live and who gets to die..
"In the past, these foster kids didnt have good lives"

stupid statistics

"I was a foster kid, I came out good"

You see? Anything can happen.

You are contradicting yourself. Bad past is stupid statistics, good past is the right thing to do.

I was just pointing out that anything can happen, so why should we deprive someone of the possibility of having a good life.

It's retarded to see that you guys are perfectly fine with murder because you think it will be better for them.

One last post to let you see how much you are screwing this up, I am ingoring you from now on.

Why should be put someone up to the big possibility of having a bad life?

you are also using statistics when you say that there is a chance that they will survive and have a decent life. "40% chance for x to happen" also means "60% chance for anything else but x to happen".
