Charles and Chad trail through the valley, and see a big survivor camp! The leader asks them to join, and they accept. The two move their stuff to a house inside the camp...

From now on, you will have to do jobs the leader gives you. He gives you some food to store in your hut, and gives you some supplies.

We must have a constant supply of food, that is necessary for survival. Upon that, we may look for additional resources to improve general quality of living, and find more survivors, to aid in the well-being of our community.

C.help the survivors camp by attaining materials for the housing and whatnot, thereby being the "helpful" guy in camp and befriending the leader(extra rations, maybz?)
