For sure it could! Duel servers gather lots of people even in such relatively dire state.
Imagine if there were pro players, teams, commentators and events with prize pools!

what do you think about the fact that uke and tori have slightly different models?

I think it's a good feature, because it prevents symmetrical openers. AFAIK, uke has slightly shorter feet, and it can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, depending on the situation.
