Since Ferdinand Magellan traveled across the globe, the popularity of the theory of Flat Earth has steadily declined until only a hand few actually believe in it. I can't think of any reasons how the Flat Earth theory even exists.

According to the page (and note that this is wikipedia, so there may be some errors), this is an actual society.
