An Important Subject
I have been debating on doing this charitable/affordable act for quite some time now and would like your opinions on this matter. Though I may not be able to accomplish this goal on my own.
Let me explain....
We have all wanted something in Toribash, weather it is a specific force , hair style , good looking textures and even the ability to use the ever illusive full 512x512 texture capability. But in order to acquire these desires , we must first collect a ridiculous amount of TC just to select one of these items.
I do not agree with this, not saying it is due to greed ( TC has no actual value ) or that it's a master plan so that players must devote a lot of time in Toribash ( probably) .
The beginners and lower belts suffer the greatest due to this and we have all been there , so what did we do ? Well we did what we could to increase our TC bank , we fought in tournaments and other played the market but we can all agree that it was tiring to do so and sometimes felt that it wasn't worth it really. To create a texture that you put alot of time and effort into, then sell it for a small is depressing and beating all the players ( spending and hour or more) until the final match only to have your last opponent win for a measly 700 TC is a let down.
Items are way over priced and something needs to change , how about a place where people less fortunate in the community have the ability to purchase items and good quality textures for a fraction of the cost? Or even some form of random lottery not controlled by the GM's?
Well that would be great would it not ? Of course would, though to do this that place would have to have a wide variety and most things are not cheap so charity giving is the only way. Now im not saying request and pleas would have to be sent out to receive the stock but instead have a single clan throw what they do not need (items , textures, small amounts of TC, ect..) into one big pile and open up an affordable shop where everyone , lower belt or higher belt, can purchase those desires. There is too much greed these days and not enough giving.
These are examples on what I want to contribute ..
The Ecto head is my new head and also a WIP , but the others we created for others who noticed my texture style and wanted the texture but in there own force/ relax colors. They were willing to pay TC for them too so I rendered them and added in different details just to make them a little different but still the same style. I only asked 2k-3k for them ( even though I spent many hours creating the original style) and sold one for 1k due to his lack of funds even ( I did not mind at all ).
My objective is to render this head texture style in EVERY SINGLE color , add in a few details and sell them for only 1k - 2k at most, haggles are more then welcome as well because the TC does not matter to me. I might even make the heads match force and relax if the buyer wants the color match.
I will give examples regarding items ....
Hunter Force - Regular 10k and sell for 3k-4k
512x512 hand texture template - Regular 20k and sell for 6k-8k
Who cares about not make a value on something , this is about making things available to those who can not afford the 50k colors or 160k texture sets. There is no greed here , only the hopes of putting a smile on the consumers face and possibly even yours.
Small cheap auctions and lotteries can be an option as well.
Now was planning on doing this alone but I would like to see if the Hunters clan would like to be apart of this and what there opinions are.
IF we all come to an serious agreement on this matter I can make a thread for the discussion on how can go about this.
Example : - Do not sell to players who purchase mass amounts in order to re-sell and gain own selfish profit.
- Should we alow players that have more then 100k -200k to purchase textures and items?

Wow TR that is a big project if you ask me. But its for a nice perpose and i would loveto help. I made a discussion thread about a similar idea just with actual money and people.
I dont have much textures myself because im generaly poor couse they stoped the 500tc tourneys but if you need any help id b glad to help. The idea is nice though.
