As nice as it would be, it would essentially make the game like previous versions, minus the ability to customize players for 'demo' users. I think someone allready said it won't happen.

I recon most of you who are still complaining about Tori being free because, you no longer have privilieges in compared to the "noobs" that were screwing around in demo servers. You felt so kickass when you came into Demo Judo and everyone were all like, "his joints are blue! awesome!"

Now listen carefully:

Grow up and get bent. I still didn't buy the game, but that was due to other issues than money. 20 bucks isn't much - it is like, what? 120 NOK? That's only enough to subscribe for WoW for like two months. (Not shure about the price.)

You've been having this game for far longer than two months I recon. So unless you live in some kind of slum, (as of which I will apologize for my statements) you've got nothing to complain about really. You paid for it. You played it until it became free. You get a unique joint colour as compensation. To get good joint colours without winning now, you'll need to pay another 20 for that. In other words, get over it.

In-game monitors would certainly help. Just create another 'mod team' which will look after the servers. Kinda like tori-police
The people who have server passes now aren't enough.

I agree with nuthug about servers like aikido and sambo. (noone played them before and even kickbox was often empty) The only thing I'm missing are blackbelt(or perhaps some lower belt because the blackbelt servers are usually empty) non-judo servers and judo fracture :P

This topic won't change anything. Back before 3.0 came out veb made a poll about whether 3.0 should be free or not. No won the vote, but it's free anyways.

I agree, we need some team of moderators on the servers to kill off these noobs. It would require a large team where there would be at least 1 mod per server though.

The game use to cost as much as a couple pizzas, it's not that much.
It was a bad decision, but really it's to late now.
We have a new server, and it would be a very tedious task to pick out ALL the players who were regged before it went free, and email them reg codes.
Plus Hampa would have to make an updated version where you put in a reg code.
It sucks, but we can't turn back at this point.

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE BEST WAY TO GIVE MORE ROOM TO SERIOUS PLAYERS IS BY MAKING MORE 'BELT ONLY' SERVERS. they dont have to be black belt only, coz, for example, blue belt players are serious enough, too.

But its definitly the best way for separating the noobs from real players

Who gives a damn about other players spamming? just ignore them.
It still costs loads of money, and though many got 3.0 free, doesn't make them retarded idiots.
