How could we say yes to an applicant who just joined, posted an application and never came back to check how his application is?
The manner in which we treat an applicant and the basis of our decision are two very, very different things. Yes, chances are he is in the line for rejection, but that does not mean he (or other applicants) should be treated with disrespect.
Sure their effort may have been poor, or lacked effort altogether, but the way we act towards external members of this community will reflect on us. Not that it really matters, because it's the internet. But yea, just saying.

Haha well when you're an official clan, you can really do whatever you want to :P I've had experience running clans, and ignorant clan applicants are just so annoying. If you're going to take the time to send an app, you should have done some research before hand and taken the time to make a good one. You can just tell when a person wants to be in a clan instead of yours in specific, and that's annoying too. I understand where you guys are coming from ;)
