To correct myself, I was running the latest BETA driver. Which has worked well for me... until now. lol. I have to download the x64 version of the driver. A few minutes, once again.
Alright. I've got my drivers straight and I applied the "-shaders 1" fix. No go. Now, trying to run it in 256 colors (for a chance to do the "how to make shaders work" method) I get the C++ runtime error. Not sure if that tells you anything.
